The Lagotto Romagnolo Foundation, Inc. is committed to protecting the health and longevity of the Lagotto Romagnolo through education, scientific research, breed health database and breeder referral program.
Until a few years ago, the number of Lagotti (plural of Lagotto) in the United States was rather small and very few people were breeding the dogs in this country. Due to the wonderful qualities of the breed and full recognition by the American Kennel Club in 2015, their numbers are increasing exponentially.

This database will be a valuable tool for potential puppy buyers as well as breeders to identify those dogs that passed certain health testing requirements. This database combines information from other public databases (OFA, Genetic Databases) as well as further information on the dogs history (parents and pedigree). We also give breeders, that signed our Code of Ethics for responsible breeding practices the opportunity to be listed here.
